Lindenhof in Meerbusch Celebrates Topping-out Ceremony
... and the start of the extension work

Yesterday, the topping-out ceremony was held for the historic buildings that are currently being renovated. The topping-out ceremony means that the extension work can now begin.

The revitalization will fully restore the original ensemble. The listed buildings dating from 1861, 1862, 1906 and 1930 will be renovated and made more energy efficient. Those parts of the building from 1940 that are not listed will be replaced by new timber buildings. The Lindenhof project is a field of experimentation: How can it be possible to build in an existing building – especially in terms of sustainability? Recyclable building materials will be used to minimise the carbon footprint. Traditional, analogue construction methods meet digital ones to track the impact on the environment.

Here’s to a successful building process!
