The building permit has been issued for our office project on Völklinger Strasse in Düsseldorf. A distinctive tower and a building whose character reflects the district will now be built next to the city gate.

At Völklinger Strasse 2 – within walking distance between Medienhafen and Lorettoviertel – offices will be created on 17 stories with a total floor area of 35,000 square meters. The approximately 70-meter-tall office tower sets a distinctive tone for Düsseldorf’s southern entrance. Directly adjacent to the tower on the eastern section of the plot, 150 apartments and a daycare center are planned. The two new buildings will be linked via a public, landscaped boulevard based on the historical city layout from 1920. The boulevard leads to an animated square with a high “quality of stay.” The new district in Unterbilk will once again contribute to the experience of a people-centered city.

The office architecture is designed with future requirements in mind. Flexible floorplans can easily be adapted to users’ needs. Modern conference areas, spacious foyers, and fitness rooms enhance the office environment.

Completion of the office building is planned for 2024.
