The topping-out ceremony was held for two of our projects within Düsseldorf’s city quarter maxfrei. Among the guests were representatives of the construction company AUG. PRIEN, HPP Architekten, GOETZEN ARCHITEKTEN, caspar. and other partners. Nikolas Jorzick, Project Manager Anja Lohfink, Alexander Schmitz and Michael Groß held speeches. The ceremony culminated with the topping-out by senior foreman Pero Barac, which is also the starting signal for the finishing work.

The two buildings, the heart of the city quarter, are being built on the site of the former Ulmer Höh’ prison in the Derendorf district. The buildings will have five storeys and offer about 13,000 m² of office space and 3,000 m² of commercial space as well as a day-care centre and a service point. A residential building with underground parking is currently under construction on another site.
