We have reached a milestone for the SACHS office building in Cologne’s Old Town for MOMENI Group. We are pleased to announce that we have received building permission for the revitalization and expansion of the former Sal. Oppenheim headquarters in “Unter Sachsenhausen”.

The two listed buildings will be gutted and the part of the building in “Stolkgasse” will be replaced by a new building. By 2025, 20,000m² GFA of new working environments will be created. LEED certification for sustainability and Wired Score certification for the technical infrastructure are targeted. “With the three-sided ensemble, we are creating an urban development highlight in Cologne’s historic banking district. Three individual addresses with different characters under one roof, with the inner courtyard as a “pocket park” and connecting element as an extension of the public space,” explains Caspar Schmitz-Morkramer.
