We call the pictured bridge design “Leichter Schwung” (Gentle Swing). It kickstarted our year on a high note when we won the competition for this bridge, located at the municipal hospital in Karlsruhe, in January. In this year-end newsletter, we want to share some highlights showing how our year unfolded. We wish you could have witnessed it all, for the year indeed progressed – a mere “gentle swing” won’t take us back to how things used to be.
The bridge in Karlsruhe can also stand as a metaphor for the transition – or better yet, the multiple transitions – that caspar. finds itself navigating. The transition to even more sustainable design practices, for example, or the transition to a different and broader public profile. In the spirit of our book “Retail in Transition,” we can confidently present this newsletter with the motto: caspar. in transition.
