We are
We are an architecture studio with a team around 120 professionals across our Cologne and Hamburg offices. Our award-winning practice, originally founded as meyerschmitzmorkamer in 2004, was reimagined by Caspar Schmitz-Morkramer at its new Kaiserhof location in Cologne under the name caspar. We manage all aspects of construction, guiding clients through every phase of service. At caspar., we specialize in the big picture. Our core expertise in office construction and renovations serves as a springboard for a wide range of projects, including district development and urban revitalization.

A distinctive feature of our approach is our broad definition of architectural responsibilities. Recognizing the profound social impact of the construction industry, we are dedicated to more than just creating exeptional architecture. We also focus on sharing knowledge, advancing theoretical discourse, and contextualizing architecture within a broader framework. Guided by our “Scale:Human” principle, we emphasize human-centered design, supported by the research, communication, and publishing activities of our in-house think tank, caspar.esearch.
