In Memory of Mike Kunz 1969–2023

I miss you already!!!

My friend Michael Kunz, or simply “Mike”, has been taken from us unexpectedly and much too soon. In 2004, Mike and his brother Florian commissioned me to refurbish the Capitol in Cologne. That was my first solo commission and my first step toward independence. But more than that, Mike was an invaluable friend and counselor in my life. Thank you, Mike. Your memory will live on in all of us.
