This is a valuable opportunity for us as an architectural firm to establish and strengthen international connections, observe new trends and gain inspiration for our own projects. We once again visited Cityscape Global, the international real estate and urban development fair. Caspar Schmitz-Morkramer travelled to Riyadh with CAO Sonja Gallo, COO Christoph Wolf, CBDO Michael Kuhn and Erik Nohr (Head of Acquisition), where they also met our local partner, Prof. Ibrahim Al Hammad.
Cityscape Global 2025 attracted over 150,000 visitors this year, offering them a comprehensive overview of current projects, trends, and investment opportunities. With over 550 exhibitors, numerous country pavilions and a diverse conference programme, the event was a central meeting place for developers, architects, investors and urban planners.
Topics such as sustainable urban development, new residential and usage concepts, and technological innovations, particularly the use of AI, were in focus, as were the major Saudi megaprojects within the framework of Vision 2030. Visitors were able to enjoy various stage formats, high-profile speakers, and extensive networking opportunities.
