Topping-out at “Börse 14”
Charged, yes. Overloaded, no.

When you look at our new project, you’ll see both, an architectural and urban escalation – of form and of meaning. This building shows how an anonymous and impersonal spot can, step by step, gain a heart, a soul, and a name.

For the client Martina Grigat-Hunger, caspar. is designing and realizing a new office building with two ground-floor restaurant or retail units in the heart of Frankfurt, right on the inner ring: Borse 14. The wedge-shaped site, its location at a street intersection, and the understated character of the surroundings all but demanded a bold new volume. As Caspar Schmitz-Morkramer puts it at the topping-out ceremony: “With Börse 14, the junction of Börsenstrasse, Taubenstrasse, and Hochstrasse is being recharged.”
