On the 14th of November the madaster CONNECT conference took place at the Trilux Licht Campus in Cologne. The event brought together almost all partners of the madaster Kennedy Programme and offered a trustworthy networking atmosphere. In addition, we and the other network partners were awarded the ‘circular changemaker’ certificate:

“This certificate recognises the company’s exceptional commitment to circular construction. As a pioneer in circular construction, the company is an important partner in the inner circle of the Madaster network, the world’s largest circular construction network. Through its outstanding commitment, the company is setting new standards and making a significant contribution to shaping a sustainable construction industry.”

Inspiring welcome speeches were followed by exciting insights into Madaster’s latest developments. The keynote speeches on the challenges and opportunities of the circular economy were particularly impressive. The breaks provided ample opportunity for networking and dialogue. In the afternoon workshops, solutions and strategies for the further development of important topics such as the material passport were developed. It became clear that it is crucial for the future of the network to bring it to life by working together, openly and concretely on the implementation of the topics. We want to intensify our participation in the planners’ workshops. The conference ended with a positive outlook and a renewed commitment to continue the intensive dialogue and to shape the future of the circular economy together.
