The first tenants have already moved into the commercial and residential space. For example, the Alnatura organic market.

On the former site of a prison maxfrei, an urban quarter with a maximum freedom, is being built. Our contribution comprises two blocks, a commercial and a residential building, which flank the chapel and public town square. Individual residential and office spaces are being created here with a mix of restaurants, a supermarket and a daycare centre. The light-colored clinker brick and continuous perforated facade grid lend a uniform, serene presence to Ulmer Strasse. The facing residential and commercial buildings recede in three tiers. On the street-facing side, both buildings offer 17,500 m² of flexible office space. A digital app connects the neighborhood, while green areas and playgrounds promote personal encounters.
