Cube 1 of 2 Is Finished!
The new headquarters of Deutsche Rückversicherung and VöV Rückversicherung have been completed.

Since early April 2026, employees have moved into their new offices in one of the two “Twin Cubes” at Heerdter Lohweg 53 in Düsseldorf. Designed by caspar., the complex consists of two office buildings (Cubes) with five and six stories, each slightly rotated from the orthogonal axis. The Deutsche Rück and VöV Rück cube (building 1) covers approximately 22,000 m² of floor space. As well as office spaces designed down to the last detail by caspar., it features a conference center, a green roof garden and a café open to the public on the ground floor. The ‘Twin Cubes’ are thus a key component in the restructuring and revitalization of the Heerdt district around Hansapark. Alongside the two reinsurers, the Association of Public Insurers (Verband öffentlicher Versicherer e. V.) has also relocated its Düsseldorf office here.
